A great choice for everyone from new junior skiers, the Salomon QST Max Jr Skis + ETK5 Bindings provide a quality setup that’s not too demanding for young legs but has the potential to improve as their skill level does.
All-Terrain Rocker 2.0
–
With a slight tip and tail rise, All-Terrain Rocker 2.0 adds an extra dimension of versatility and control for all mountain skiing. Camber in the middle of the ski and full length contact guarantees strong edge grip, stability and power for hard snow and piste skiing. In addition to the excellent terrain absorption and intuitive turn initiation, the slight twin rocker also allows the ski to pivot much easier when the ski is flat, increasing control and maneuverability in all conditions.
Flex
Easyflex Technology
–
Ski thickness adaptation – less material for a softer flex under the binding. Especially made for kids skis that allows for easy turning, faster progress with less fatigue.
Core
Composite Core
–
A combination of fibers that reduces weight while adding maneuverability and forgiveness.
Sidewalls
Monocoque
–
Single structural layer of fiber for comfort, response and maneuverability.

Terrain:
All-MountainMore
Terrain
All-Mountain
All-mountain skis are designed to handle anything you throw at them including powder, ice, groomers, steeps, heavy snow, and everything in between, but they aren’t necessarily a master of any one terrain. If you’re only going to own one ski to do it all, this is what you want. All-mountain skis generally have what we call mid-fat waists that range from 80-110 mm. -

Beginner-IntermediateMore
Ability Level
Beginner-Intermediate
Whether you’re new to the sport or working on linking smooth turns, you fall into this ability level. Typical beginner skis and snowboards are usually built with softer materials, narrower widths, and feature cap construction for an easy to turn, forgiving ride. Beginner-intermediate boots and bindings are also built for ease of use and progression, featuring softer flexes and in the case of ski bindings, quick and safe release from the ski in case of a fall. -
Rocker Type:
Rocker/CamberMore
Rocker Type
Rocker/Camber
Rocker/Camber skis pair a traditional cambered profileunderfoot with an elongated, early rise tip borrowed from fully rockered skis. This profile places the front contact point further back from the tip, while the rear contact point remains close to the tail. The rockered tip allows for better flotation and less edge catch for increased float in deep snow, while the cambered rear stores and transmits energy similarly to a fully cambered ski. -

Tail Type
Flat
This is your traditional tail, designed to have edge contact all the way through the tail, and only designed for skiing forward. This is also preferred for alpine touring, as you can stick the tails of your skis in the snow. -
