Built to make mincemeat of the biggest and steepest lines on your list, the Salomon Highpath Snowboard uses a mid-stiff directional shape and Salomon’s best materials to deliver a ride that’s calm and collected in the burliest of terrain and deepest of snowpacks yet still turns on a dime when the line demands it. Full FSCĀ® Certified Aspen cores with Popster CNC’d profiles provide strength and energy, while the addition of C/FX Carbon/Basalt weave creates a smooth and confident ride without excess weight. A high-end tool for the rider who thrives on challenge.
Rock Out Camber
–
Flat between your bindings for stability, camber near the feet for response, and rocker on the tip/tail for pressability.
Flex
Flex Rating
–
7 (1 Soft – 5 Stiff)
Shape
Tapered Directional
–
Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves flotation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack.
Core
Aspen Select Core
–
Every single FSC certified wood strip is hand selected to ensure unparalleled core quality and lightness.
Popster
–
Popster's shaped core profile is strategically milled inside of the insert packs, allowing the board to flex more naturally underfoot and transfer energy into the nose and tail for added pop.
FSC® Certified Wood Core
Laminates
C/FX Basalt
–
A patented combination of fiberglass and basalt designed to provide an optimal ratio of weight, power, and dampening.
Biaxial Medium Density Fiberglass
–
Medium density European-made fiberglass layers guarantee a consistent quality level, for light and lively boards.
ABC Wrapper
–
More dampening, less plastic ! ABC Wrapper is a process using wood veneers to reduce fiberglass in each board.
Sidewalls
Recycled ABS Sidewalls
–
The molecular structure of ABS can be described as a concrete bar with rubber nuggets inside, combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption.
Base
50% Recycled Sintered Base
–
Provides a moderate balance between the speed created by a hard surface and good wax retention.
Fine Stone Finish
–
Fine stone finish helps speed up in powder or softer snow conditions.
Edges
All-Mountain Edge Bevel
–
A 1° edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2° bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.

Terrain
All-Mountain
All-mountain snowboards are designed for exploring the whole mountain. They are your go-to for a snowboard that will do anything. They feel at home on groomers, powder, park runs and almost anything in between. The vast majority of snowboarders choose all-mountain boards for their great versatility. If you’re just getting started or unsure of exactly what you need, an all-mountain snowboard is a great choice. Freeride
Freeride snowboards are designed for the rider that spends most of the day off groomed runs and in backcountry terrain. They typically have a stiffer flex and are ridden in longer sizes than freestyle snowboards. Freeride snowboards often feature a directional shape that is designed to perform optimally in one direction. -
Ability Level:
Intermediate-AdvancedMore
Ability Level
Intermediate-Advanced
Whether you’re a progressing intermediate exploring new runs and terrain, or an accomplished rider seeking new thrills, the majority of skiers and snowboarders fall into this level. Intermediate to advanced skis and snowboards may be somewhat wider or stiffer than beginner-intermediate skis and snowboards, usually with a stronger wood core and sandwich sidewall construction. Intermediate to advanced boots and bindings range from softer flexing freestyle options to stiffer choices built for stability at speed. -
Rocker Type:
Rocker/Flat/RockerMore
Rocker Type
Rocker/Flat/Rocker
Rocker/Flat/Rocker is another variation on the rocker theme that seeks to provide a little more hard snow edgehold and pop than full rocker while retaining ease of turning and float. Performance is between a fully rockered board and a flat board. -

Flex Rating
Stiff
The amount a snowboard flexes varies significantly between boards. Snowboardflex ratings are not necessarily standardized across manufacturers, so the flex may vary from brand to brand. Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff. Generally you will find flex ratings of 1-2 as soft, 3-5 as medium, 6-8 as stiff, and 9-10 as very stiff. Flex ratings and feel may ultimately vary from snowboard to snowboard. -
