Fox Shox 34 Float SL Performance GRIP Fork – 29″

The Fox Shox 34 Float SL Performance GRIP Fork delivers up to 130mm travel in a full-width 34mm chassis that increases torsional stiffness by a whopping 17% over its predecessor without piling on the grams. Its generatively designed arch and 7000 series aluminum crown cut down on unnecessary weight, while the trusty GRIP damper and increased bushing overlap combine for a buttery-smooth ride that keeps you glued to your line.

Inboard Bypass Channels

Bypass channels help curb pressure ramping for increased small bump sensitivity, as well as recirculating bath oil to lubricate bushings and seals. By relocating the bypass channels from the aft side of the fork to the inboard side, they are now out of the fore-aft load path to further reduce dynamic friction throughout the fork’s travel.

Increased Bushing Overlap

The 34 SL increases the bushing overlap by 20% over the 34 SC for a smoother feeling fork overall. Riders will notice additional suppleness at higher speeds when bending loads on the fork are at their greatest.

Redesigned Arch & Crown

Generatively designed and optimized by FOX engineers, the new 34 SL arch wraps around the lowers to increase torsional stiffness of the fork by 17% over the previous 34 SC. Cutouts at strategic locations in the arch help minimize weight of the lowers. In addition to the arch, the generatively designed 7000 series aluminum crown also contributes to overall torsional stiffness, with larger internal lightening bores and a black anodized finish (lighter than paint) to save even more weight.

GRIP Damper

Inspired from moto, the GRIP damper uses Fox's FIT sealed cartridge technology combined with a coil-sprung, independent floating piston. GRIP allows excess oil to purge through specially designed ports at the top of the damper to maintain consistent damping and increase durability. It features three on-the-fly compression damping positions.
