Line has dropped the “Blade” from the title of the Line Skis Optic 104 Camo Skis, a good thing in our opinion since the two have little in common. What hasn’t changed is the rock solid all-mountain, all-conditions performance of the Optic 104, a ski hard chargers will want under their boots 80% of the time. Line went out of their way to make this ski more than equal to the best freeride skis on the market, sending it on its way with an Aspen Veneer core and carefully shaped Titanal laminate, making the package just what strong skiers are looking for in a daily driver.   Rocker/Camber/Rocker skis have the playfulness and float of a rockered ski as well as the added edge hold of a cambered ski.The contact points on skis with this profile are closer towards the middle of the ski than a fully cambered ski, but still not underfoot. The cambered midsection provides a longer effective edge on hardpack, increasing edge hold and stability, while the rockered tip and tail provide floatation in deeper snow and allow the ski to initiate and release from turns easier.
